Leverage

Translation into plain English Make the most of

Perpetrator Accenture

Usage example "We have a long track record of success leveraging ... solutions."

Lucy’s commentary (Writing in 2003) This noun-as-verb has been in the charts for a long time but still deserves a mention. "We have a long track record of success leveraging ... solutions." "We leverage our global scale." Also leveraged are assets and expertise. I think this verb means "to do", or "to make the most of" but I wouldn't swear to it.
